The first Android handset of Samsung has been finally introduced in the mobile market after months of anticipations. Samsung i7500 is basically a quad band GSM slimmer tri band candybar that packs 5 mega pixels camera, AMOLED 3.2 inches touch screen, high speed Wi Fi, 8 gigabyte of storage with extension capability and headset jack of 3.5mm. The availability of the mobile phone has been announced by the company in some major European countries since the month of June of year 2009.

Furthermore, GPRS and EDGE technologies are also incorporated with the frequency bands of 1900, 1800, 900 and 850 MHz.The standard 3.2 inches AMOLED touch screen supports the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels to display sharp quality photographs.A 5 mega pixels camera along with power LED and auto focus is also supported by the mobile phone which ensures that one will always get top quality for pictures captured.

Audio player supports the file formats of RA, WMA player, enhanced AAC+, AAC+, AAC and MP3 and various video formats supported are WMV, H.264, H.263 and MPEG4.As far as connectivity options are concerned, this mobile phone comes packed with much advanced Bluetooth technology, MicroUSB, Wi Fi and USB 2.0 is supported along with an ear jack of 3.5 mm.The battery having the amperage of 1500 mAh provides enough time periods for both when the device is in standby mode or talking mode.

Onboard memory of 8 gigabyte is further extendable up to 32 gigabytes through external memory card of MicroSD.The device measures the dimensions of 115 x 56 x 11 mm.Apart from above listed important features, some other valued added features incorporated in this design are Google Maps, Google Search, Gmail, web browser, Google Talk, Calendar, YouTube and Android market.
