It is lighter and sleeker but the weight is just enough to give you a firm feel and grip. It fits very snugly in your palm with a solid feel without getting heavy. The handset weighs only 110gms.

A redesigned full QWERTY keyboard. The Blackberry 8900 Curve new keyboard is now made a bit narrower but still wide enough compared to a standard mobile phone handset. But this has not diminished its functionality. The only complaints are probably coming from people with very large or fat fingertips!

A 3.2 megapixel camera performs nicely for most everyday shots plus a great LED flash that is bright enough for adequate illumination. Hardware at the back had been reconfigured to make the Blackberry 8900 Curve one of the best phones ever on the market today. The slot for the microSD had been transferred to below the battery pack (next to the sim card slot) that is better positioned for hot swapping.Better hardware and improved applications. Business documents can be edited on this phone. The improved lithium standard battery no longer heats up like earlier Curve and Bold models series. This handset has 5.5 hours of talk time and 360 hours in standby time.
