The screen on the HTC Desire is a 3.7 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which utilises a pixel layout of 280x 800 whereby it can display up to 16M colours. This provides it with stunning display quality of the on screen content making perfect for viewing photos and video files. As well as utilising the touchscreen, the handset also features an optical trackpad beneath the screen, which offers a thumb-operated alternative method of navigating the HTC Sense UI.
