A whopping 16 GB of onboard storage is provided alongside 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.  This gives users the opportunity to store thousands of music tracks, video clips or documents etc, within the handset itself.  Thanks to the generous level of storage, the need for expandable memory such as a microSD slot is essentially eliminated, which helps to keep things simple.

The LG Optimus 7 provides a speedy and reliable Internet connection via its full HTML browser. 3G coverage provides the initial means of connectivity thanks to an HSDPA connection providing speeds of 7.2 mega bytes per second.  Users can also connect to wireless networks whenever they have access, be it in commercial, domestic or public locations.  The addition of DLNA compatibility means that users can stream multimedia to compatible devices such as a TV, laptop or set of wireless speakers.

One of the impressive hardware features of the LG Optimus 7 is the 5 mega pixel digital camera located on the back of the handset.  Operating at 2592x 1944 pixels, it boasts autofocus and an LED flash amongst its spec list.  As you may expect, it also boasts the ability to shoot HD video in 720p quality at 24 fps.  The camera impresses further, with the outstanding panoramic shot application.  This allows users to take a 360 degree shot, by automatically lining up the next shot.  This is a feature which is sure to appear in more and more Smartphones, and displays the level of innovation found within this handset.

The Windows Phone 7 operating System Works in conjunction with the highly regarded Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (1GHz), to provide a speedy and easy to use interface.  A good number of entertainment and productivity features are included, such as a versatile media player which supports numerous music and video file formats, as well as a Microsoft Office document editor, along with Facebook integration for social networking enthusiasts.  Another innovative feature of the LG Optimus 7 is called ScanSearch.  This functions thanks to the digital compass and GPS with A-GPS support.  This allows users to find local services and points of interest when moving the phone around, with the relevant details displayed on the screen in real time in relation to its location.

The LG Optimus 7 is a Smartphone which is sure to be the envy of any gadget enthusiast.  Its levels of innovation combined with its head turning aesthetics make it a refreshing change to the norm in the Smartphone market which seems to be dominated by a small number of models.
