The LG Optimus One has proven successful since its release in October 2010. Its spec list is impressive to say the least, boasting highlights including a digital camera, touchscreen and Android software along with numerous social networking, multimedia and productivity applications.

The LG Optimus One comes with a useful 3.15 megapixel digital camera which operates at 2048x 1536 pixels ensuring decent quality of the resulting still images.  A number of image enhancing features is included such as autofocus, face & smile detection and beauty shot mode.  Geo-tagging is also provided which keeps track of where the camera was used and displays this on a map, a feature which functions thanks to GPS.  As an additional method of image capture, the camera boasts the ability to shoot VGA quality video footage.

 

Android 2.2 Froyo is the operating system of choice and this runs alongside a 600 MHZ processor.  These combine to provide a fantastic user experience thanks to the power of the processor providing a lightning fast user interface and the power to run demanding applications.  The LG Optimus One is a highly versatile smartphone thanks to a long list of applications which are included as standard such as social networking integration, multimedia features and even productivity tools for the workplace.

 

The LG Optimus One makes a great choice for those seeking something different from the more common smartphone models.  It is surprisingly affordable, yet does not sacrifice features and functionality.
