Mobile phone giant Nokia has recently announced several upcoming handsets, amongst them the C3. The manufacturer has cleverly combined a number of appealing features to provide a versatile handset which won’t break the bank.

The Nokia C3 utilises class 32 versions of both GPRS and EDGE to stay connected to cellular networks whilst on the move.  A fast Internet access can be attained thanks to the inclusion of Wi-Fi Technology.  This works by utilising the signals provided by wireless Internet routers in commercial, domestic and public locations.  Bluetooth is provided as standard which offers users with a means to connect to other compatible mobile phones in order to carry out several tasks such as swapping contact information and sharing media files, provided they are in the same vicinity.  In order to connect the handset to a computer, a micro USB Port allows users to carry out tasks such as backing up contact information or managing media files etc.

A good level of everyday versatility in functionality is offered with the Nokia C3 thanks to its applications and features.  Several demographics of mobile phone users are catered for with this handset.  Social networking fans are offered the social networking integration meaning they can share their thoughts with friends and family in a matter of seconds via popular websites such as Facebook.  A number of different formats of both music and video files are supported by the versatile internal media player whilst a stereo FM radio player and access to a library of downloadable games offer additional entertainment options.  Voice command/dial and a handy organiser are included as standard to aid in productivity tasks.

The Nokia C3 provides a 2.4 inch TFT screen which utilises a pixel setup of 320x 240 to display up to 256K colours, making it ideal for viewing photos and video files.  For efficiency of text entry, a full QWERTY keyboard makes the front of the handset, appealing to those who prefer the use of a physical keyboard over touchscreen technology.

The dimensions of the Nokia C3 are 115.5x 58.1x 13.6 mm and it weighs in at an impressively light weight 114 g.  This makes it both pocket friendly and a pleasure to hold and use on the go.  The handset itself is available in a number of colour variants ranging from slate grey, golden white and hot pink offering aesthetic appeal for style conscious users who view their phone as a fashion statement.

The Nokia C3 provides 55 MB of internal storage as standard, however a micro SD slot is also provided for the same purpose which can accommodate a memory card of up to 16 GB.  By taking advantage of this option, users have the ability to store an entire digital music collection on their phone which can be accessed via the built in media player.

Whilst the Nokia C3 may not be the Smartphone, it simply does not pretend to be one.  It offers perfect functionality for everyday use and Carries out an array of functions with the minimum of fuss which is sure to appeal to a number of users.
