The Nokia C3 Is An Impressive All Rounder

One of Nokia’s many new handsets is the C3. Featuring a QWERTY keyboard, it is an excellent functionality device designed simply to get the job done in an efficient manner.

The Nokia C3 measures 115.5x 58.1x 13.6 mm and weighs in at 114 g.  Its relatively slimline profile and light weight make it a pocket friendly handset whilst its dimensions mean it is ideally sized to make it a comfortable handset to hold and use.  The C3 also offers appeal to style conscious users who view their phones as a fashion statement,The Nokia C3 Is An Impressive All Rounder Articles thanks to the availability of a number of colour variants of the handset.  These are slate grey, cold and white and hot pink.

 

The TFT screen measures 2.4 inches and utilises a pixel layout of 320x 240 to display up to 256K colours for vibrant display of on screen imagery.  Rather than opt for touchscreen technology, Nokia have simply placed a full QWERTY keyboard in front of the handset for efficient text entry.

 

55 MB of internal storage is provided as standard can accommodate files such as music tracks, video clips or photos etc.  Should further storage be required, the micro SD slot can be utilised by installing a memory card of up to 16 GB.  This should prove ample for the needs of most users as it is capable of storing an entire digital music collection.  The internal phonebook can store a seemingly endless number of contacts and boasts the popular Photocall feature.  This is whereby a photo is assigned to a particular contact in the phonebook.  Then, whenever that person is in contact, the photo is displayed on screen.

 

Everyday functionality and versatility is provided thanks to the inclusion of a number of applications and features.  These range from social networking integration for fans of sites such as MySpace and Facebook, to a versatile internal media player which supports all manner of both video and file formats such as MP4 and MP3 etc.

 

An array of different connectivity features keeps the Nokia C3 connected at optimum levels dependent upon location and network coverage.  In order to stay connected to cellular networks in all but the most remote locations, class 32 versions of both GPRS & EDGE are utilised.  A faster Internet connection can be attained via Wi-Fi Technology.  This utilises the signals provided by wireless Internet routers, allowing users to surf the web at broadband speeds.  Bluetooth is provided as standard which allows the handset to connect to other compatible phones and other devices such as Bluetooth headsets.  In order to connect the phone to a computer in order to carry out tasks such as transferring media files or backing up contact information, a micro USB connection is provided.

 

The Nokia C3 is equipped with a functional 2 mega pixel digital camera.  Operating at a pixel resolution of 1600x 1200 pixels, this provides the ability to take good quality still images.  The camera can also shoot video in QCIF quality at a rate of 15 frames per second.

 

For a budget handset, the Nokia C3 provides impressive levels of everyday functionality whilst maintaining a high level of aesthetic appeal thanks to the availability of a number of colour variants.
