Nokia have recently unveiled a barrage of new handsets. These include the C3, a mid range QWERTY handset, built with functionality in mind. It is an ideal phone for those who need to get the job done with no need for all the bells and whistles found on many new phones.

A versatile media player supports a whole host of video and music file formats such as MP3/MP4, whilst a stereo FM radio player and a range of pre-installed and downloadable games are provided to keep users entertained for hours on end. Voice command/dial, a handy organiser and T9 predictive text input are all included to for everyday functionality.

 

The C3 measures 115.5x58.1x13.6mm and only weighs 114 grams. Thanks to its light weight and pocket friendly dimensions, the handset is a pleasure to hols and use on the move. Available in grey, white and pink, the Nokia C3 also caters for the style conscious who view their mobile phone as a fashion statement.

 

The 2.4 inch TFT screen offers a high level of on screen display quality thanks to the ability to display up to 256,000 colours within a pixel resolution of 320x240. A full QWERTY keyboard dominated the lower half of the fascia, offering a convenient method of text entry.

 

55 MB of internal memory is provided as standard for storage of data such as media files. A micro SD slot is also provided for this purpose, which can accommodate a memory card of up to 16 GB, which is sufficient to store a reasonable sized digital music collection or a large number of video clips.

 

The Nokia C3 is equipped with a digital camera boasting 2 mega pixels. This operates at a pixel resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, so users can take reasonably high quality snapshots wherever they are. It can also shoot video in QCIF quality at a rate of 15 frames per second.

 

Nokia have come up trumps with the C3, as it contains great everyday functionality, whilst remaining appealing to the style conscious with a range of colour variant, all whilst remaining an affordable handset.
