The Nokia C5-03 was released in December 2010 and has proven to be a popular choice amongst those seeking a comprehensively functional yet surprisingly affordable mobile phone. This great looking, compact handset offers a wealth of features which you would find in many more expensive smartphones, and is available in a variety of head-turning colour options.

Phone calls and general messaging are carried out thanks to both GPRS and EDGE which operates in class 32 versions.  When users wish to browse the Internet, they can take advantage of reasonably fast download speeds of 10.2 mega bytes per second which are provided by an HSDPA connection in areas where 3G coverage is available.  An even faster connection can be achieved whenever users have access to local Wireless Networks, thanks to full Wi-Fi connectivity.  The standard Bluetooth and micro USB connections are also included allowing users to connect the Nokia C5-03 to compatible hardware devices whereby a number of different tasks can be carried out.

 

The Nokia C5-03 is a competent cameraphone boasting a 5 megapixel offering which operates at 2592x 1944 pixels.  This comes with geo-tagging which keeps track of where photos are taken (functioning thanks to GPS), and users also have the luxury of being able to shoot video footage in VGA quality at a rate of 15 fps.

 

The Symbian operating system works alongside a 600 MHz processor for a fast user interface, and also provides the power to run demanding applications.  A long list of standard features is included from many different categories.  For example, in terms of entertainment features there is a versatile media player, a selection of pre-installed and downloadable games and a stereo FM radio player.  GPS is included which allows features such as geo-tagging and Nokia Maps to function whilst productivity features include an organiser, voice command operation and predictive text input.
