Released in late 2009, the Nokia X6 has proven to be a popular handset. This comes as no surprise, given its impressive specifications and unique styling. Looking at the spec list, it is safe to say that this stylish handset is aimed primarily at music fans with features such as a versatile media player and 32 GB of internal storage.

The X6 is equipped with an impressive digital camera as standard. The dimensions of the X6 are 111x51x13.8mm, and it only weighs 122 grams. Its light weight and slimline profile make the Nokia X6 a pocket friendly handset and a pleasure to hole and use on the go. Its appearance is simple and uncluttered, with the front dominated by the screen with three touch sensitive buttons beneath the screen.

 

Class 32 versions of EDGE & GPRS are provided to keep the Nokia X6 connected to cellular networks in all but the most remote areas. In areas covered by 3G, HSPDA connection provides access to the internet at speeds of up to 3.6 mega bytes per second. In areas where there is a nearby wireless internet router, Wi-Fi utilises the signals to provide a faster internet connection at broadband speed, therefore providing an enhanced web browsing experience.

 

The internal phonebook can store a practically unlimited number of entries and includes the popular photocall feature. This allows a photo to be assigned to each contact and this is then displayed on the screen whenever that person calls. A whopping 32 GB of internal storage is provided as standard, allowing an entire music collection, for example, to be stored within the phone. With this much internal storage, there is simply no need for upgradable storage such as a micro SD slot.
