The new Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system has seen the launch of a number of new handsets to showcase its new software. Amongst these is the impressive Samsung Omnia 7 with its 4 inch touchscreen, loads of internal storage and 5 mega pixel camera, to name but a few of its notable features.

The Samsung Omnia 7 is equipped with a handy yet powerful 5 mega-pixel digital camera.  This operates at 2592x 1944 pixels meaning the resultant still images are of superb quality with high levels of clarity and detail, whilst an LED flash, image stabilisation and auto-focus are all provided to improve the quality of photos whilst simultaneously simplifying the task of taking them.  Geo-tagging is also provided which functions thanks to GPS and allows users to keep track of where they took their photos or shot there videos, thanks to it automatically recording this information.  As an alternative to taking still photos, users can shoot video footage in high definition (720p) at 25 frames per second.

 

Inside the handset there is a powerful 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which provides lightning fast response times whatever the application.  This means that everything from operating the touch screen to browse and the Internet is lightning fast, and coupled with the versatile Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system, a fantastic user experience is assured.
