Amongst the new number of handsets to be released featuring the new Windows Phone 7 operating system, is the Samsung Omnia 7. There is a superb 5 mega pixel digital camera located on the back of the handset which operates at a pixel resolution of 2592x 1944 boasts Autofocus, image stabilisation, LED flash and geo-tagging amongst its credentials.  As an alternative to taking still photos, the camera can also shoot high definition video in 720p at 25 frames per second.

 

The Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system calls upon the power of a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor to run demanding applications with ease and provide a lightning fast user interface.  As is standard with all of the new Windows phones, there are a number of entertainment features such as a versatile media player, radio player and a number of pre-installed and downloadable games, along with productivity features such as Microsoft Office document viewer and organiser.  If you are into social networking, there is a dedicated Facebook application which allows you to instantly access the social networking sites for storing your login details.
