The HTC Wildfire offers solutions to common problems encountered when surfing the web on other mobile phones.

A feature called “text auto-reflow” allows users to zoom into a web page simply by pinching the screen. The test on the page then resizes and moves to fill the screen, whereas on lesser phones, one would have to scroll from side to side or up and down to read the text. Up to 7 panels can be displayed on the homescreen, which can be customised to display whatever the user wishes. These can range from practical applications such as contacts, or a calendar, or something more personal such as a favourite photo album.
