Fixing Wii Error Code 51330

While the Nintendo Wii's are incredible entertainment consoles, they come with errors- like the common Wii Error Code 51330. This is a connection error that can pop up when you are trying to connect your Wii and your wireless router. Sometimes your Wii can connect itself incorrectly on the initial set up, so you’re goal is to double check manually it has your personal connection information stored correctly.

Turn on your Wii, go to your Wii menu and select the round lower left “Wii” button. Next, select your Wii settings, move to the second screen in order to select the “Internet” option, then connection one and select for an access point. Your personal wireless information needs to be entered here. Double check that you are WEP/WPA key from your router is entered in exactly as your router states. This key is case sensitive.

There is the possibility that your router could use a power down cycle, much as a broken PC can sometimes. Unplug your wireless router and leave it completely powered off for fifteen seconds.
