Commitment brings additional responsibilities to a man’s life, whereas for a woman commitment means that she does not have to worry as much about providing for herself. Once a woman is in a committed relationship, she can relax and focus on raising children and taking care of the home, while the man is the one who is usually left with the responsibility to provide for his wife who is staying at home while taking care of their small children.
With that said, a man will have to be absolutely sure the woman is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with and to have children with.
