Creating an e-book is an easy way to get you feet wet in t world of internet marketing. Many people delay writing their own because they don't know where to star; some useful hints are detailed below. Of course if you aren't a very accomplished writer you may want to employ someone to do the writing for you or just help out with other material.

The subject of your e-book is quite easy to work out if you have an interest in a specific area, why not write some articles and get the feed back on whether people are willing to pay for this information. A good method used to practice before you start is to write some articles on the topic of your book and then distribute them on the internet to promote the book you are writing; free publicity! Post several articles on various websites, as well as on the article directories and the number of views your articles receive will show you what potential your book has for making sales.

Once this is complete you can start writing the content of the e-book and work out how you want it to look. If you are worried about the structure you should not go wrong of you follow the normal introduction section, body content and then a conclusion to the subject which might also have a helpful resources area as well. You can also increase the value of the book by adding some bonus material or sections.

Normally authors will write an article and then insert it into their e-book as this gives them an idea of how it will look when it is completed. There is less room for error with e-books and no room for unnecessary information to clutter them so don't make it longer than about 50 to 60 pages. People do not like reading on compute screens so prefer to have shorter books that do not drift from the subject.

As an added extra, why not supply the reader with some bonus material you have located to give added value to your e-book; this is always appreciated. This can be some additional articles you have written to another short report. Any extra material you supply will need to be worthwhile on its own and be related to your e-book subject.
