How to Download Catalog Driver Updates on Windows 10 For Installing Printer

The Windows Update Catalog is a Microsoft service on the web that allows you to download updates manually for Windows 10 and other supported OSes, but you can also use the website to download drivers, including for your printer, when the system refuses to install the device, or you can't seem to find the correct driver from your manufacturer support website.

“Windows Update Catalog” is one of the most used services provided for the website by Microsoft. It enables you to install your Windows updates manually and various supported devices. It also provides the service to download various drivers even for your printer if your computer fails to download the particular device, or it is unable to detect the driver.

However, Windows 10 can set up almost every printer device automatically. The case is not the same every time. In case you are attempting to do the same, then follow through the given steps.

1. Installing the Printer Manually

In case you didn’t find the appropriate driver online or your Windows is refusing to set up the printer on its own, then there is another option “Windows Update Catalog” to get the perfect driver for your printer.
