It was established by the government in 2009. Its permanent campus is located in Simrol, Indore.

Academics- It offers 4-year B.Tech programmes in several fields. It provides Ph.D. and M.Tech. programmes in engineering and Ph.D. and M.Sc programmes in basic sciences and humanities.

Admissions- Admissions to the various programmes is through the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE). And the students can be admitted only after 10+2 schooling.

• Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal

Ranked as the 29th best engineering college in the country, it is one of the most prestigious colleges of MP.

Academics- Undergraduate courses are available in all engineering fields. Post graduate courses include MBA, MCA, Ph.D. in relevant fields and other Master degrees.

• Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal

It is an autonomous institute for research and education in Bhopal. It is one of the top most engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh.

Academics- It offers a five-year BS-MS (dual degree), Integrated Ph.D. in Mathematics and Physics, Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.

Admissions- For BS-MS, it admits students through JEE advanced, JAT and KVPY.
