5 Ways to Improve Your Squeeze Page Conversions

The role the squeeze page plays in the growth of any online business is indisputable as most online entrepreneurs will attest to.
By collecting an email list of potential customers that you can 'easily' promote products to is a great asset for a growing business.
Read more to discover 5 things you can do to your squeeze to maximize its effectiveness and to help grow your business quickly.

Your squeeze page is the single biggest tool you have to build your business. Online entrepreneurs commonly use squeeze pages to collect an email list of potential customers to which they can market to in the future.

Having an opt in list like this gives you two advantages that will help you grow your business in an accelerated fashion. The first is that by opting into your subscriber list people are allowing you to make email contact with them. The second advantage is that you already know what these people are looking for so you know what to promote to them.

With all that said it only makes sense that the faster your email list of customers grows the quicker you can expand your business. So how do you entice the visitors at any of your squeeze pages to join your opt in list? Below are 5 ways in which you can increase the conversion of your squeeze pages to help you grow your list and business faster!

Proper Keyword Use

Be sure the keywords in the ad that attracted your visitor are displayed on your squeeze page. This lets the visitor know right away that the page is consistent with what they were expecting to find.

Attention Grabbing Headline

Already having a good idea what your visitor is looking for, after all they did respond to your ad, you need to craft a headline to catch their attention. Whether it is shock, humor, or perhaps even a question it is important to capture their attention to keep them reading. If not they are gone and likely forever.

List of Benefits

Squeeze pages need to be brief and hard hitting so the majority of the text should involve the 'listing' of the benefits they will receive if they sign in below.

It is best to use a layout such as bullet points or numbering since it is easier to follow for the reader. You do NOT want to ramble or use any more words then absolutely necessary on this page.

Be careful not to place too much more on this page in terms of graphics or text that may distract the visitor from the 'single' intention of the page itself.

Get your points across and ask for their contact information.

Free Giveaway

To 'entice' your visitor to leave their contact information it is common and expected to offer some type of free 'gift' in exchange. Be sure that whatever you are offering is relevant to the product(s) you are promoting.

The use of a simple graphic illustrating the free giveaway is ok here but do not use graphics anywhere else since they can distract the visitor.

Call to Action

Make yourself absolutely clear to your visitor that you want them to leave their contact information. Continue to make mention of this desire throughout the entire page but very clear and deliberate at the end as they approach the opt in box. Being very direct in your delivery tell them to enter their name in order to get their free gift and the benefits you previously mentioned.

Just remember this if nothing else, your visitor will need to be told what to do so be sure you CLEARLY tell them to leave their contact information.

And of course it would be wise to realize that it would be very rare indeed if your squeeze pages never needed to be 'adjusted' to increase their effectiveness. Therefore you will want to test, testFree Reprint Articles, and test again to continue improving your results!
