One of the easiest things to get started on with internet marketing is e-books If you just read the following ‘pointers' you can be up and running compiling your own in no time. Although this process assumes that you're doing the writing yourself,Writing Your First Ebook Articles you could hire someone else to write the articles or just produce additional material.

The first thing to do research the topic for your e-book and write some articles and although this can be any subject, it is easier to write about something you are interested in that people are willing to buy the information you have. A good method used to practice before you start is to write some articles on the topic of your book and then distribute them on the internet to promote the book you are writing; free publicity! The articles can then be distributed to the popular article directories which will provide a good indication how successful the book could be by the number of people that read your work.

Once this is complete you can start writing the content of the e-book and work out how you want it to look. Most books are set out with an introduction, the main topic and then a conclusion but you may want to add a resource section as well which is quite normal these days. You can also increase the value of the book by adding some bonus material or sections.

On completing each article, insert it into the e-book because this is a good way to see just how many you will need. Because e-books are usually shorter than a printed version, no-one wants to read material that has been added that is not related so it is best to stay close to the topic of the book. The reason for this is books on screen are not as easy to ready so no-one wants to read information that is not directly related to the subject.

Most e-books provide bonus material so if you can find some include this as it will be welcomed. From your point of view this bonus information does not need to be anything more than some extra articles you did not use in the book or a short report you have written. Do not supply bonus material about a completely unrelated subject, readers do not appreciate this.
