I realized that obesity is a risk to my health and may cause certain complications in the future. I began to develop determination and started losing weight in moderation within a span of only three months! My aim to stay fit has been a success.

Having experienced the risks and trials of becoming obese during my college years,Advocacy for the Importance of Physical Activity in Living Articles I was able to overcome them all. While studying Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at King Saudi University, being obese didn't stop me from pursuing my dreams to finish my course.

As time goes by, I then realized I needed to control my eating habits and lose weight. I realized that obesity is a risk to my health and may cause certain complications in the future. I began to develop determination and started losing weight in moderation within a span of only three months! My aim to stay fit has been a success.

Today, I am able to establish my credibility when it comes to health and wellness. I was able to motivate a lot of people to keep a healthy lifestyle.  I am now promoting health and wellness by teaching appropriate exercise and fitness programs to my clients. I encourage people to never get discouraged and give up just like what I did before.

Nowadays, people are experiencing different health problems. You may think they are healthy but, in fact, they are not. Being healthy is not just feeling better and having no illness within your body. Engaging yourself in physical activities will keep you healthy inside and out, both physically and mentally. The importance of physical activity may result in the following:

It Can Help Maintain Ideal Weight. Both proper diet and exercise controls weight gain.

It Can Reduce the Risk of Certain Diseases. Heart disease has become one of the leading causes of death. Physical activity can lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels; thus, can lower your risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Metabolic disorders, such as diabetes, are also some of the many diseases that can be controlled by proper diet and exercise. It can also reduce the risk of cancers. There are certain studies that show people who are physically active have a lower chance of developing colon cancer and breast cancer.

It Helps Strengthens Bones and Muscles. Studies show that being involved in physical activities can lower the progression of bone loss density in an individual. It also helps in managing arthritis and other joint pains.

It Improves Mental Health. With regular physical activity, you will be able to think at your very best. It keeps your brain active; thus, is proven to reduce stress.

It Increases the Chance to Live Longer. Research shows that having regular exercise can help you have a healthy lifestyle that contributes a lot to the anti-aging process.

In engaging in certain physical activities, it is important to consult your doctor first. Not all physical activity may benefit an individual.

Understanding the importance and benefits of having a regular physical activity can help an individual to stay healthy. I am always committed in my services to promote wellness in people.
