1.Filet Mignon: This classic meal is best accompanied by mashed potatoes and a vegetable of choice. My personal favorite vegetable to include with my filet mignon has to be sautéed spinach. Most chefs agree that the ideal cooking temperature for this cut of beef is medium-rare and would best be enjoyed with a glass of cabernet sauvignon.

2. Chicken Piccata: This classic Italian dish features lightly breaded chicken breasts that are sautéed and then covered in a rich sauce. The sauce is a white wine and lemon sauce with hints of garlic with a buttery finish and features capers for that added level of flavor. Goes well with a sauvignon blanc.

3.Shrimp Scampi: This classic seafood lovers dish can be found throughout Boston. The advantage of ordering this meal in the Boston area is the abundance of fresh seafood that is available to the restaurant industry.

4. Chicken Marsala: There is nothing better than a delicious chicken dish; unless that chicken dish is made with high quality wine. One of my favorite chicken dishes to order whenever I’m in Boston has to be Chicken Marsala. The hint of robust flavor from the wine and the earthiness from the mushrooms combine with the sweetness of the sherry to create a symphony of flavors that I never get bored of.

5. Lasagna: Whenever I order lasagna, I can’t help but be critical of the recipe. My mother and grandmother have been making lasagna for me for as long as I can remember so I take their recipe into consideration, even when dining at the Best Boston Restaurant. The pasta has to be made from scratch along with the meat sauce and the ratio of fillings to sauce needs to be perfect. Luckily, the north end in Boston has yet to let me down.

5. Rack of Lamb: For those who enjoy the Mediterranean flavors, this meal is for you.  Best cooked medium rare, the combination of oregano, rosemary, and garlic marry to penetrate deep into the lamb, creating a tender and delicious bite.

6. Prime Rib: A meat lover’s favorite. Usually marinated and then slow cooked for hours. The only thing you have to worry about with this meal is what kid of wine you will be sipping.

7. Roasted Salmon: If you are not used to eating seafood then this is the dish for you to try. The subtle seafood flavor of the salmon is accentuated with herbs and spices. Best served with steamed vegetables and roasted potatoes, this dish will make you a seafood fan for sure.

8. Baked Scallops: This one if for experienced seafood connoisseurs.  The classic flavor of the scallops is complemented by dill butter and sherried cracker crumbs and a hint of lemon. Add sautéed spinach and parmesan risotto to complete your delicious meal.
