‘Iron Chef America’ a live cooking competition show on the Food network in America which is based on the original Japanese show ‘Iron Chef’ telecasted on Fuji Television. In this show there are four Iron chefs. The challenger competes with on iron chef. These four Iron Chef are specialized in different kind of cuisine. The show ‘Next Iron Chef’ is a limited run series on the Food network to select the next iron chefs for the second season of ‘Iron Chef America’.  The show for the second season has started on 7th Oct 2009,Cooking Competition Of Next Iron Chef Articles and it’s in its final stretch where there will determine who will be the next Iron chef. The last two contesting chefs that are there are Chef Jose Garces and Chef Jehangir Mehta. Any one of these chefs could be the Next iron chef for the second season. The present result is quite surprising as this is an unpredictable outcome. Not that the final two Chefs lack talent, on the contrary they are two chefs in a pool of talent. But there was no clarity as to who will be the finalist as there was a lot high and low during the competition.Now we have these two chefs competing to become the next Iron chef  for the second season. Chef Garces is specializes in Latin fare, credit to his Ecuadorian background, while Chef Mehta is inclined toward ... flowers, and he specializes in Indian food.  He also seems to have an strange relationship with an ice cream makers.About the challenge that was the toughest where it was a challenge to filter the best two. The three Chefs Mehta, Garces and Chef Seamus Mullen were given 60 minutes to prepare and shop in Japan's most famous fish market. They were to make 5 plate meal that best illustrated integrity and their personal expression in the dishes they prepared for the panel of six judges. Chef Mehta prepared his dishes where his plates had more flowers than food. The judges though found that there was no restrain but still appreciated that Chef Mehta as he had indeed put himself in the plate. (He used an ice cream maker). Chef Garces based his cooking on his personal story explaining in each dish pointing the marks of his life being marks on the fish dishes symbolized all the burns he picked up working in the kitchen all these years. Interesting!!Chef Mullen made six dishes instead of five in spite of his rheumatoid arthritis. I guess that was resulted in having a salmon mousse that was overcooked and the rice dish under cooked. So there was no recovering though his other dishes like mullet roe ice cream was the best among the judges. Mullen went home.
