Grilling is a way of cooking which is enjoyed by many, especially during the warmer months when the sun beckons us to move the kitchen outdoors. Fresh air always seems to add extra special flavor to dishes, especially when cooking chicken breasts on the grill.

If you will be grilling chicken for a crowd, you can get a jump on things by pre-cooking the chicken in a preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Then you can transfer the chicken to the grill as your guests arrive thus reducing the time required for grilling.

Be sure to check the chicken for doneness before removing it from the grill by making a small cut in the thickest part of the meat with a sharp knife and prying back the meat slightly to check the color. The chicken is done when it is opaque with no traces of pink near the bone and the juices run clear.
