Does Wartrol Have Side Effects

Make sure to drop the medication underneath the tongue and not to drink water immediately after applying the drug.

Genital warts are a devastating condition. When a person has genital warts, it would be hard to seek the help of a professional, let alone admit the occurrence of the same to his or her partner. Genital warts are considered as a sexually transmitted infection and are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. These warts are also called venereal warts, and may appear in the male’s penis, scrotum, groin or thighs; as for females, it may appear in and around the vagina, cervix or even in the anus. In some cases, they may appear as individual lesions, while for others, they may resemble a cauliflower-like appearance.
Wartrol is a popular drug in treating genital warts. Unlike other drugs intended to cure genital warts, Wartrol is considered as a homeopathic approach which means it makes use of ingredients which are all natural and less toxic than other ointments, topical or oral medications.
How Is Wartrol Used?
Wartrol is an oral medication and is dropped underneath the tongue for a systemic effect. Before applying Wartrol, one is encouraged to first gargle with saline solution or distilled water in order to remove the food debris inside the mouth.  Also, eating or drinking beverage should be avoided twenty minutes prior to administering the medication.
But then if you prefer a more immediate effect, spraying or applying the medication on the wart area itself may also be done. Just make sure you place a bandage on the area to prevent contact with other areas.
Side Effects of Watrol?
Other drugs used in treating genital warts have been shown to produce side effects, and sometimes even adverse effects like allergic reaction to the medication. Other medications, especially those used as topical application will result to pain and discomfort in the genital areas due to the effects of chemical in the skin. Furthermore, the adjacent skin may also be affected with the contact of these chemicals thereon.
Fortunately, with the use of Wartrol, no side effect or adverse effect has been observed yet as per the clinical trials conducted. This indicates that Wartrol is a better option in the treatment of genital warts. No pain or discomforts may be felt with the use of this medication making your condition private to you and unnoticed by others.
However, if you are pregnant, expecting to be pregnant or currently breastfeedingScience Articles, you may need to consult your obstetrician to determine whether this medication may be taken.
