Most of these fixtures are also much simpler in appearance than fixtures for bedrooms, living rooms, and other parts of the house.
Diffused lights are ideal for illuminating bathrooms because they can create a warm atmosphere while fixtures with high wattage illumination can be harsh thus have to be avoided. Most harsh lights create shadows and this is not generally good for bathrooms. Installing dimmer switches can provide you with better control over the brightness of your light fixtures.
Wall scones are ideally great for task illumination. They are perfect for lighting up your vanity mirror by placing them on either side. The type of pendant light fixtures you choose can depend on the size of the vanity area.
