The rust and dirt should be removed from the hinges and the brackets and they should be allowed to dry completely. Afterwards, these hinges and the brackets should be lubricated with the special lubricants available in the market. Some of the people also make use of the powdered graphite for this purpose as well. Another reason for the sagging doors can be the misaligned positioning of the brackets. One should make sure that the height of the hinges used on either side of the garage doors is equal.

Dents

Sometimes, the garage doors mar the looks of the homes, due to their very obvious dents. While some of the dents might require the services of the professionals to be flattened, the less obvious bumps can be flattened by making use of the tools like the hammer and the rubber mallet. This will help the individuals in saving money as well.
