There are approximately 4 distributors of Green Glue in the continental United States and 2 in Canada, so where do you buy your Green Glue? There are a few companies out there who will gouge you if you purchase individual tubes of the Green Glue damping compound.
I have never minded paying a little more money for a lesser quantity if this is all I need, but why should you have too, when you can go to www.soundproofingamerica.com and purchase the individual tubes for the case price of $15 per tube. Other companies charge as much as $18 to $20 per tube because they know you need the product but don’t want to pay for a full case. There is enough profit margin in selling the individual tubes at the case price so I personally don’t see any reason to gouge the public just because they don’t know any different. The same holds true for the West Coast, Soundproofing America will never charge more than $15 per case to ship Green Glue to anywhere West of the Mississippi, as a matter of fact, if you purchase your Green Glue online and live anywhere in the continental United States, (not including Hawaii or Alaska) you will never pay more than $12.50 per case to ship you Green Glue. If you live on the East coast in states like New Jersey, New York, Connecticut or Rhode Island, generally when you order your Green Glue, you will have it the very next day. No one can beat our shipping cost or our next day ground ship into the East Coast. The same hold true for the West coast, anywhere from Santa Barbara to the Mexican border will receive next day Green Glue delivery and the cost per case is still around $10 per case. Sure, you can go to the big distributors who don’t really care that you pay 150% of the actual shipping costs or you can do your research and call the experts at Soundproofing America whose #1 job is to make sure you are completely satisfied with your soundproofing project. If we can’t save you money on shipping costs and over all Green Glue costs, then I will tell you to go ahead and buy from the “Big Boys” but if you want the best service at the lowest cost, you have to call the pros at Soundproofing America; your #1 Soundproofing resource from coast to coast.
