You can give your clothes to dry cleaners and rest assured they will return it in pristine order but what if you ruin say your leather belt? Then what? Do your dry cleaners take care of leather too? Or are there any other establishments nearby your area to help you out? Guess not.

Well then this article will shine knowledge on how to take care of your leather belt. Now a leather belt is not just any other fashion accessory! It is an investment!
Now cleaning the belt will depend on how much damage has been caused. If it is an ordinary dust collection then wiping the belt down with some soft cloth is adequate.

Or you can buy some leather dressing lubricant that is petroleum based as that can usually more often than not take good care your leather belt for about five to six months. Use the dressing liberally on the belt and make sure the surface of the belt is evenly coated so that your favorite belt can recuperate!
Prior to the treatment of the patient (your belt of course who did you think the patient was???) make sure that dry leather is not bent or stretched. If you are asking why then the reason is that bent or stretched fibers will (in all probability) break. Now lubricating the belt will not cause the material to not rub up against one another.
