but also the stereotypes we hold of ourselves.”

The most important key to your success in life is, without any doubt, a healthy self-image. How you think about yourself impacts every part of your life and your choices in relationships, jobs, friends, how you spend your time, the kind of opportunities you seek out. It affects the kind of responses you get from others. And most critically, it affects your dreams and the actions to make them real.

In my years of consulting, I’ve found that people who are unaware that their self-image is hurting them tend to hold themselves back from what they are very capable of doing. My goal for my clients is to guide them to use techniques to strengthen their self-image so they will move forward with far more certainty and speed, expanding their success immediately.

You owe it yourself to pick all the fruits life can offer! You also owe it to yourself to lift yourself up to the level of success you dream about when you’re feeling at a peak of motivation to succeed. Think about how you feel right after you hear an excellent speaker and your head is swimming with examples of how other people have filled huge bank accounts. Your next thought should be: “What do I have to do to reinvent myself to be the kind of person who does that?”

Among the many techniques for changing and improving your self-image are a few that everyone needs to know and constantly be reminded of:

1. Learn to re-direct the “Inner Critic” that lives inside most of us. Soften your self-criticism and then eliminate it.

2. Respect yourself. Don’t be afraid to be bold: ask for what you want, be prepared to receive what you’re asking for, allow yourself to envision the best outcomes possible.

3. Ask yourself who you want to be when you grow up if success is a certainty. Use that image as a blueprint of re-training yourself in how to react, feel, think and take action.

You’re never done growing. Reinvention is always the name of the game!
