My mum is special in more ways than one. Not only is she a great lady but she also calls the New Orleans Saints the ‘New Orlean Saints’ hun. Likewise the Falcons are the 'Fowlcans', the Minnesota Vikings the 'Minn Viks' and the Miami Dolphins the 'Mimi Delphs'.So I thought this week I would delve into that eccentric mind of hers and ask her to predict the 10 most unlikely things that will be said about the ‘New Orlean Saints’ in the media between now and seasons end. Here’s what she came up.

1 - Sean Payton should really try to be a little less conservative with his play calling.  2 – Without doubt,10 things you won\\\'t hear said about the New Orleans Saints Articles and to end all further discussion on the matter, Drew Brees is definitely the best Quarterback in the NFL.  We apologise for always going on and on about Tom Brady and Peyton Manning all the time.3 - The Jeremy Shockey highlights reel is the most downloaded Google video in both Afghanistan and Puerto Rico this week.4 - The Drew Brees 2009 chant is clearly ineffectual at raising team spirits.  Why even bother anymore?5 – The New Orleans Saints are so lucky to have a fully stocked healthy secondary week after week.6 - The New Orleans Saints are one dimensional on offence and must spread the ball around more.  Take David Thomas out of the game and the Saints O are done.7 - David Thomas is a legend in the making.8 – Al Michaels to Chris Collinsworth ‘And you know I was talking to the Saints punter Thomas Morstead yesterday and I tell you he is probably one of the most eloquent rappers I’ve ever heard’.  9 – Who is Reggie Bush?  And what exactly is a Kim Kardashian?10 – The New Orleans Saints fail to make the playoffs after another crushing defeat; this time to the Super Bowl bound Washington Redskins.I like her choices although I would rather that she did not tempt fate with that reference to the playoffs.  Surely that is impossible now?  Well nothing is impossible being a Saints fan and no matter how well things are going you can never get comfortable. If we get past the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football then we’ve got a great chance of securing home field advantage through the playoffs.  A loss and we are likely to be tied with the Minn Viks at which point the old Saints glass half empty head comes back and makes inner monologue less enjoyable.  Oh please don’t let that happen.  Life has been so good up to this point!
