I would certainly recommend purchasing a HDTV, so you can enjoy your show in the best quality possible. A great lineup of digital and High Definition channels are offered by my local cable provider Comcast Cable.

Addiction can be a terrible thing. Soon the drugs you use are not enough and you need more and more. That is what it is like with Damages and star Glenn Close's Emmy winning main character. Writers,Damages - Enjoy Your Show In The Best Quality Possible! Articles Daniel Zelma, brothers Glen and Todd Kessler, Zeljko Ivanek, and actors Ted Dansen and Rose Byrne all have been nominated at one time or another for their powerful work on this great show.

Glenn Close plays Patty Hewes, the lawyer from Hewes and Associates. Her character is one that is played to perfection, you can't help but love to hate her. Along comes Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) who is a bright-eyed young graduate, sought after by other firms, but wants to work with Patty Hewes. While their characters clash, neither will submit to another's will. The characters constantly evolve and the performances by the actors are great.

The show has a dizzying array of flashbacks, forwards, and events happening now. Each moment is often an important piece of the plot so it is not a show you can miss without losing something. You have to stay on your toes to follow the zigzags all along the way. You need to keep your eyes peeled at all times. Closely observe the neck of Saffron's shirt at the same time Ray Fiske does in the first episode, for example. Characters come and go and you are expected to remember them. And don't be shocked when one of the characters you love is lost. From show to show you'll never know who will make it to next week. The initial season is thirteen episodes although it is unlikely that all characters will return for a second unless it is via a flashback.

I wonder if my addition to Damages will keep going. Is it possible for the show's creators to continue to generate such enjoyable material? Can more adventure be found for another season? Never give up hope! If the people behind Damages can't keep up the outstanding quality that they've maintained so far, TV will lose one of its most promising shows in decades.

I've been shocked to discover how much more enjoyment I have when viewing Damages via HD. Comcast also offers High Speed Internet service and Digital Voice. My previous DSL service did not permit me to download a/v files or keep up with my personal favorite programs as quickly as this service does. Plus, with Comcast Digital Voice I can make crystal clear calls nationwide with out paying long distance charges. I only have to pay one monthly flat rate for all three great services by taking advantage of the Comcast HD Triple Play bundle. The best promotion is available on the Internet. I would highly recommend Comcast to anyone who is looking for Digital Phone service at a flat-rate fee, HD digital television, or fast broadband High Speed Internet service.
