PC keyboards – still in the mainstream of PC accessories

Pc Keyboards vary in sizes. Some keyboards are bigger since they consist of a separate numeric side. The smaller Pc Keyboards are called keypads. There are many types of Pc Keyboards and standard keyboards, laptop keyboards, keyboard for games, numeric keyboards, alphanumeric keyboards, ergonomic keyboards and thumb size ones are some of them. The Keyboards that are foldable are also available. Basically, computer keyboards are fixed to USB ports. Earlier keyboards are fixed to PS/2 ports. The laptop keyboards maybe the smallest computer keyboards. These types of keyboards are equipped with keys that are fixed with many functions to each key thus minimizing the keyboard’s size. 

The Pc keyboards designed for games are identical to normal ones, but they consist of illuminated keys as well as multimedia keys. There is an LCD screen with gaming keyboards and they have space for palm rests as well. Illumination of these types of keyboards helps the user to see them in the dark. They can adjust the volume of the game with the multimedia keys. Some Pc Keyboards are designed mainly to avoid muscle strains of users when keying and they are called ergonomic keyboards. The users of ergonomic keyboards do not get muscle strain due to their excessive typing. 

There is laser Pc keyboards that is fixed to flat surfaces such as surface of a table. Since the keyboard is fixed to the table, the user can type easily since they do not feel the keyboard is a different part of the PC itself. The foldable Pc Keyboards are great for travellers since they do not need extra space to carry keyboards. The materials used to produce foldable Pc Keyboards are polyurethane and silicone. Even though it is called foldable keyboards, they are designed to roll up. Sometimes, folding can damage this type of keyboard but it is not so with rolling.  

The Pc Keyboards have to be cleaned since dust can harm the proper their functions. Dust can easily gather on Pc keyboards since the keys have holes. Between keys, dust can gather and users experience difficulty in pressing them due to this reason. Liquidspills on Pc keyboards can damage them permanently. As quickly as possible, such spills of liquids should be cleaned to prevent lasting damage. Using a compressor is ideal to clean keyboards. Directing the air of a compressor to the keyboards can blow out dust gathered between keys. After it is cleaned with compressed air, the keys should be cleaned with a piece of cotton dampened with computer cleaning liquid.
