Trekking in Thailand

Great place in Thailand for bush and mountain trekking

Thailand has some really good places to go trekking, but the below 2 places Chiang Mai and Khao Sok are both the best  in Thailand in my opinion.
In Chiang Mai there is many tour agencies that offer overnight or multiple nights stay with the hill tribe people in   he mountains, it is about a 4 hour trek which is tough but rewarding, you will need to be slightly on the fit side to   be able to do this trek. A lot of up hill walking, but you can always get a motorbike taxi up to the hilltribes if  you can not make it.
Once you are up the mountain you will come to the small village, no electricity, the kids have no video games and   the place looks like another world. You will see the kids have made their own toys and can keep themselves occupied   with their own little toy inventions. Such simple living and they all really look genuinely happy.I stayed with the Lahoo tribe who have been there for generations, they are very welcoming and can cook some of the  best food you will ever taste.
I only stayed one night and the next day was the trek down the hill, but one thing that we saw that was amazing was  the fog that was below the mountain, it was like seeing a river of clouds, a beautiful sight. The trek down is much  easier and the trek is really good, I would recommend to anyone who is staying or visiting Chiang Mai.
In Khao sok, there is the rainforest that is even more diverse than the Amazon rainforest. The amount of nature here  is truly amazing. the limestone cliffs, the amount of birds and just the wildlife you are surrounded with is an   experience in itself.
The accommodation in Khao Sok are mostly tree houses which is the best way to stay as you will even feel closer to   nature. There is also a wide range of tours like jungle treks, canoeing, rubber tubing and more. Trekking in Khao Sok  is not as tough as Chiang mai but that does not mean its not as good. I actually think the Khao Sok trek is much  better because I really love nature and wildlife and there was just so much aroundPsychology Articles, I did not really see much in  Chiang Mai which was a shame.
