There are many review sites in the internet and in the brick-and-mortar realm. Some people love them and some people hate them. According to Wikipedia.org,Review Websites as Friends Articles a review site is a website on which reviews can be posted about people, businesses, products or services. A review site is not something new. Aside from the doctor’s board as the main disciplinary arm of the medical profession, the review sites also serve as private entities checking the competence and the compliance of the doctors with the stringent national and international health standards.  While the bar associations check the conduct of their individual members, the lawyers are also being checked by the legal critics – or those people who make a living criticizing practitioners and exposing their major flaws for the safety of the public. In the field of website design, there are also individuals who make a living by exposing the flaws of website designers and the major defects found in many websites. They function like movie reviewers who scrutinize every part of the movie from its title to the director involved.

What is the best approach of a website owner towards an online website reviewer? He should look at these critics in a more positive light. Instead of treating and branding them as enemies, the individual online businessman must look at the critics as friends or the necessary folks which make online business good. If a reviewer flooded his blog with a criticism of your website design, the website owner or his manager should welcome the same. The fact that there is much attention and time placed on a particular website means that the site is good. It means that the website is something worthy of attention and the blog is only a testament to the importance of the website or whatever the site represents. If the website is useless or it does not attract much attention, the reviewers will not spend their precious time going over the website. Why will a reviewer spend 20 minutes of his time writing about a website visited by only its owner? Why will a reviewer waste his energy scanning a free website with too many defects?

Criticisms are what we need to grow in the internet community. An ordinary online businessman knows the importance of criticisms in his everyday life. His employees would rarely criticize his website design because they fear for the safety of their employment. His customers don’t often vocalize or admit the errors found in the design site. The review websites, on the other hand, compete against one another to give the most objective reviews and criticisms. No one can dispute that. The review websites are what we need to grow our market and improve the conditions of trade in the internet. Imagine if the review sites are banned – the internet market will enter a period of uncertainly and vagueness because no one will remind the purchasing public about the errors in website design and website promotion.

There are many review sites in the internet and the number does not seem to stop. There is no plug to stop the expansion of the internet. As new websites become hip and popular, the website owners desire to know what’s wrong with their websites. They have two choices: First, they can hire a website consultant to diagnose the website and pinpoint potential damaging flaws in the website design. Second, they can rely on websites like greatwebsiteguide.com and other review websites.
