A really simple lose weight tip that is easy to follow, free and achieves great well being.

Boring old water. That was until someone saw the business opportunity in bottling spring water and making it most fashionable to drink.

How will this tip help me lose weight I hear you ask?

It's great and really is one of the simplest tips for losing weight. Fat cells in your body are harder to break down when you are dehydrated.

Have a glass of water with your meal. It does not have to be natural mineral water. I find water straight from the kitchen tap just perfect.

During the meal take sips of your water. This will help to slow down your eating speed allowing your body to fully digest the food it intakes.

Sipping the water will help you to feel more full when you finish your meal and help resist that urge for an extra portion. Water naturally reduces your appetite.

I also carry a bottle of water in my bag when I'm out and have a bottle of water on my desk at work. Sometimes you can feel hungry when really you are thirsty and your body needs hydration. So we eat when we really need a drink.

Not only is this one of my favorite tips for losing weight but it also has great health benefits. Your body is two-thirds water so drinking more of it helps to keep your body hydrated.

Keeping a glass jug of water in the fridge may help as colder water is nicer to drink. You can add a slice of natural lemon or lime to the water if you want to give it some extra flavour.
