Some dieting programs are so complex (or so painful) that I know I would never have a chance. But I found one that is enjoyable and works - what a combination! It seems like a diet for idiots.

I don't want to weigh portion sizes.  And if I could get away with it, I'd rather not do any exercise (wishful thinking).  I'm not really an idiot, but I like to keep things simple.  So, when it comes to diets, I need a diet for idiots.One of the diets that appealed to me was described as calorie shifting.  Here are some of the reasons this fit my need for a diet for idiots:1.  11 Day Cycle with 3 Days Off  This diet actually gave me time off!  I could go out to eat with my friends and not worry if they had Weight Watchers offerings.  Somehow it is easier to be part of a diet that doesn't last forever.  I get a chance to re-evaluate every 11 days.  And I can just relax for three days before I jump in again.2.  Four Meals a Day  Instead of starving all day thinking of my one main meal, this diet wants me to keep eating through the day.  They say that by eating more meals, my metabolism keeps burning.  This is good because that is what burns off my fat.  So, I don't feel hungry - I feel good, in fact.3.  No Small Portions  I am encouraged to eat until I start feeling full.  I don't have to fit my meat into an ice cube holder, I can have a normal size piece of meat!  This isn't a starvation diet or one where we are working hard to cut back on the calories that we consume per day.  The idea is to vary the types of food we eat (and when we eat them) so that our metabolism never settles in on that plateau that doesn't let us lose any more.4.  I Can Choose What I Want to Eat  The diet lets me chose foods out of a food group.  I can design my meal and my day.This diet keeps it simple, and I don't have to starve or crave foods that I never can have.  I can lose as much as nine pounds in an eleven day cycle!  I don't have to exercise to lose that much, but I know I should.To learn more about this diet for idiots, click the link.  You will enjoy this one.
