The weight Loss industry has brainwashed everyone carrying a few extra pounds into being miserable and unhappy. This has to be stopped!

Being fat is not the end of the world.

If you search about any topic on any search engine using the word ‘weight loss’ you are likely to get millions upon millions of results. The weight loss markets have made it to seem like a curse to be a few pounds overweight and this stigma has filtered down in to every part of society. It seems like you are not allowed to be happy and fat because that is not the norm at all. Weight loss marketing techniques all show people being miserable because they are overweight and thin people,You Can Be Fat and Happy! Articles all smiles because they are slim and trim. There is an in between though.

You can be fat and happy!

I will probably be shot and hung for making such a statement because that is certainly not something any weight loss product manufacturer wishes to hear. There are lots of people that have lived long healthy lives being overweight and some people are just built that way and no weight loss diets are going to change it. Every weight loss product out there is going to tell you how dangerously unhealthy it is to be fat. This is definitely true for people that are seriously obese. A few extra pounds round the middle do not mean you have an early death sentence though. Most people can tell themselves when they are uncomfortable overweight enough that it is necessary to lose some of the weight. Then it is obviously sensible to follow a weight loss program or a special diet.

It is all about your metabolism.

Surely you must have met some people in your life that are able to eat everything and anything they want without picking up one pound even though they are not active in any excess. Their bodies seem to have a natural rate of burning calories fast and if you look at their families you will probably notice that a lot of it this is hereditary. Other people eat a food that is healthy and still add weight and when they try and lose it they find it an almost impossible task. It seems to be that there must be some sort of balance somewhere more than anything else. Maybe it is something else we do not know about?

Some people I have met are a little overweight but their weight has stop increasing even though they continue to eat normally, and I think that they have found the right balance for their body. In this case why let others make you miserable because of the way you are built?

Where the real problem lies around being overweight

People that have serious problems with weight can easily be spotted. They are grossly fat or obese as it is called. People that carry this amount of weight may have picked it up from compulsive eating, comfort eating or seriously bad sedentary habits. Somewhere along the line they have gone seriously overboard in eating everything that’s wrong! Careful weight loss diets need to be worked out by a doctor in these cases. This is definitely an unhealthy condition that needs to be investigated.

The stress put on overweight people

If you are fat, then a huge amount of stress has been put on you by society to slim down. This stress can be more dangerous than the few extra pounds you have. Weight loss diets advertisements put even more pressure on people and to top it off you add to that by getting on a scale every five minutes to see if you have lost weight. It certainly makes you wonder what is going to end up killing you. Probably is the stress before the weight. You can think for yourself if you are overweight enough that it is very unhealthy and only then need to do something about it. If you have stopped gaining weight and continue to eat the way you normally always have, then this may be your body’s natural balance.

What makes a person pick up weight?

There are quite a few other factors that come into play that also result in your weight gain besides foods.  Once again it is your body that plays a big part in how you metabolize food.
