This was a big bonus for us as we were worried about losing money. We do intend to keep our new Skoda for many years but it is nice to know the new car will remain valuable.
The Skoda range was excellent, we had a difficult decision to make, and decide on a model that would suit our family’s needs now and in the near future. We decided on the Skoda Roomster MPV. We were particularly drawn to the robustness and durability the Skoda Roomster offered. We also noticed the latest model had a new face-lift, with improved frontal features such as a stronger grill and intelligent lights. We now had to decide on one of the four equipment versions of our chosen Roomster. We decided after some thought on the Scout model. With its glass roof offering panoramic views whilst amplifying the internal room this model offers.
The Skoda Roomster is powered by a 1.2 TSI four-cylinder petrol engine with 1197cc. Claiming to be quiet and economical, boasting a top speed of one hundred and seven miles per hour. An urban fuel consumption of 39.8 and a combined consumption of a very respectable 49.6. We decided on the new DSG automatic transmission. Well we do a lot of town driving along with motorway runs so a nice automatic will be a refreshing change from our current manual car.
We now had to turn our attention to any extra accessories we would like, 16 inch Alloy wheels, cool box, trunk grille, sunblind’s and one for the kids was a genuine Skoda DVD player on both head rests. The DVD player has a USB connection so it would be useful for me also.
We are so looking forward to taking delivery of our new Skoda Roomster. It is a great MPV for our family to enjoy long journeys in, whilst it remains a sensible car for me to use for work. The automatic gearbox will make my journeys a whole lot more enjoyable. The fuel economy for an MPV vehicle is beyond our expectations. The comfort is going to be our best ammunition when it comes to talking the kids on a long journey, as will the DVD player.
Our new Skoda Roomster will be with us in less than two weeks and we cannot wait. We have already planned some weekends away from the city.
