Make time for your customersFeeling rushed or harried is no excuse for bad customer service. Customer service is one of the most important marketing and sales tool known in the advertising and marketing world. Without customer service, you're better off not doing business! Even if you feel harried or rushed….and even if your face is all flushed with the mounting stress, it’s better for you to learn tai-chi. Tai chi? You’re kidding. What’s tai-chi got to do with business anyway? But I am not out of my mind. Far from it. Tai chi is a wonderful method of calming oneself and maintaining good health. But this article is not really about tai chi. It’s about making your customers happy. Experience as a businessperson online has shown me many important things about keeping the clients happy. And one of them is to MAKE THEM FEEL IMPORTANT. You see, it’s good that you’re busy. It shows that money’s coming in. And from your client’s point of view, it probably means that you’re good at what you do. That’s why you have got lots of projects to handle. But be sure to appear as if they are too important for you to ignore! Regardless of how small the project is. Good and happy customers are only too happy to make referrals. This means, they probably won’t mind passing on your contact information to people who needs your services. But only if your current client thinks that you can handle everything. When they recommend your services, their reputation is at stake too. Not only yours. If you don’t live up to expectations, especially if your client has been singing praises about your work, your client is going to feel terrible about recommending your services. Your client may also be feeling a little scared to recommend your services to others, for fear of making your life miserable. If you’ve been making your clients think that you’re so busy that you’re almost dying, because they love you and your services, they won’t want to recommend your services because if you get more projects, you’re going to die, right? Or at least, that’s what they think. Every businessperson knows that it’s better to maintain a current good client than to keep looking for new ones. So, make your current customers happy and they’ll make you happy with more referrals and more future projects. This way Source: Free Articles from ArticlesFactory.com
