Packed with everything you could ever want from a smartphone,Nokia N8 - Incorporating Advanced Cameraphone Technology Articles the Nokia N8 has a number of stunning features such as a 12 megapixel camera, AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, and loads of internal storage.

Measuring 113.5x 59.1x 12.9mm, the Nokia N8 is relatively compact, and certainly slimline making it a comfortable phone to hold and use. The AMOLED capacitive touchscreen measures 3.5 inches, and thanks to the ability to display up to 16M colours within a pixel resolution of 360x 640, it is ideal for displaying photos and video, especially given the inclusion of an accelerometer sensor, which automatically rotates the on screen content based upon the orientation of the phone. This means photos and video can be viewed in both portrait and landscape forms.

A whopping 16GB of internal storage is provided as standard within the Nokia N8. This alone should be ample for the needs of most users, as it is more than capable of storing an average sized digital music collection. Should further storage be required though, the micro SD card slot can be utilised by installing a memory card of up to 32 GB. This would result in a combined storage capacity of a staggering 48GB!

Browsing the internet is a pleasure with the Nokia N8. Access to the internet is provided initially via HSDPA in areas with 3G coverage, however a faster connection is available via Wi-Fi whenever local wireless networks are available.  Class 33 EDGE & GPRS provide access to cellular networks on the move, whilst Bluetooth and micro USB connections are also provided as standard. These allow users to connect their Nokia N8 to a number of compatible hardware devices such as other phones and computers in order to carry out tasks such as transferring media files and backing up contact information from the phonebook.

As previously mentioned, a stunning 12 megapixel digital camera is provided, which even features Carl Zeiss optics. Due to the high pixel count, obviously the resulting still images are of very high quality even when zoomed, although there is a comprehensive package of features included which allow users to enhance and edit images. Of course the camera can also shoot video, in 720p HD, making it one of the most advanced cameras currently available on a mobile phone.
