The new Samsung S5620 which is the first Samsung Monte phone to be released has now been made available on the T-Mobile network,Samsung S5620 Monte Arrives on T-Mobile - Samsung Monte Articles this latest touch screen device was initially launched on Virgin Mobile before being picked up by Orange, O2 and Vodafone. The Samsung Monte has also been released as a Pay As You Go phone as well as a SIM Free handset, both of these options negate the need to pass the strict network credit checks involved when ordering a contract mobile phone and so suit many people with a poor credit score. The T-Mobile Samsung Monte S5620 is the same colour variant that has been released on Vodafone, O2 and Orange, however a new Graphite and Orange edition of this handset has been launched alongside the original black version as a network exclusive mobile phone on Vodafone.Offering a 3.2 inch touch screen experience, 3.2 mega pixel camera and social networking integration the Samsung S5620 Monte is a mid-ranged, fashionable handset set to appeal to those that like to keep fully up to date with their friends online activity. Also included is WiFi, HSDPA and 3G services for keeping connected on the move and providing fast internet download speeds. The exterior design of the Monte is a welcome retreat from the somewhat 'slabby' touch screen phones released lately, this new Samsung device offers a sleek, curved housing that fits the hand well both in conversation as well as in operation.Joining the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Portal which also offers a 3.2 mega pixel camera alongside a 3.2 inch touch screen the Monte opts for the manufacturers TouchWiz user interface and Samsung's own operating system as opposed to the Android OS of the Portal.Further competition against this new handset comes from the LG Pop which packs a slightly better 5.0 mega pixel camera as does the Nokia X6, the Nokia 5800 and 5230 which are around the same price bracket and from within the manufacturer own ranks the new Samsung S7070 Diva with a similar camera resolution but a new, funky design. The Samsung Monte is still yet to launch on the dedicated 3G network; 3 Mobile and the new graphite and orange edition will also be rolled out to further networks as soon as the limited exclusive time period with Vodafone has expired.
