The Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system works in conjunction with off a powerful 1 GHz processor to provide a speedy and powerful platform for carrying out a multitude of different tasks.  The standard features within the handset are diverse to say the least, with a versatile media player for music and video files, a number of pre-installed and downloadable games as well as a stereo FM radio.  Social networkers are catered for with a dedicated Facebook application which can also take advantage of the built-in voice to text feature.  When updating your status, you can simply speak into the built in microphone rather than manually type it, and this feature works with text messages and emails also.
