Due for release very soon, Sony Ericsson have produced a very desirable handset in the Vivaz Pro. This handset features a number of appealing features ranging from a slide out QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen navigation, 8 mega pixel digital camera and super fast Internet access courtesy of both 3G and Wi-Fi Technology.

The internal phonebook within the Vivaz Pro is capable of storing a seemingly unlimited number of contacts, in conjunction with the ever popular Photocall function.  This allows a photo to be assigned to a particular contact, and this is in turn displayed on screen any time that person is in contact.  Storage for data such as music files, video clips, photos and documents is 75 MB as standard.  A micro S the card slot is provided for the same purpose with a pre-installed 8 GB memory card.  This can be increased up to 16 GB simply by installing an upgrade card, offering ample storage to suit the needs of most users.

 

The 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen boasts the capability to display up to 16M colours within a pixel setup of 360x640 pixels, providing an impressive level of clarity and detail within the on screen imagery.  Other features of the screen include an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, handwriting recognition and is manufactured from scratch-resistant materials protecting it from everyday wear and tear.  As mentioned a QWERTY keyboard slides out from behind the screen offering an efficient means of text entry, appealing to those who prefer a physical keyboard to touchscreen text entry.
