These days, many new phones are coming supplied with a full QWERTY keyboard, with manufacturers sensing that not everybody wants a touch screen phone. Therefore, Sony Ericsson has released the Vivaz Pro. This offers the same specifications as the popular Vivaz; however it sees the addition of a full QWERTY keyboard for efficient text entry.

The Vivaz Pro features internal memory in the shape of 75 MB. This offers a good level of storage for data and files such as music tracks or video files. A micro SD slot is included for the same purpose, with a pre-installed 8 GB memory card. This can be increased though by swapping this for a larger memory card of up to 16 GB. The internal phonebook can store a seemingly endless number of contacts, and included the ever popular photocall feature. This allows a photo to be assigned to each contact, which is then displayed on screen whenever that person calls or is called.

 

The 3.2 TFT touch screen is capable of displaying up to 216M colours within a pixel layout of 360x640, giving a high level of display quality and clarity. As well as an effective method of navigating the user interface, the touch screen operates alongside a full slide out QWERTY keyboard, offering an efficient method of text entry.

 

A variety of additional features makes the Vivaz Pro a very functional handset for everyday use. A media player accommodates most types of music and video file formats, whilst a selection of pre-installed games and a stereo FM radio player are also provided to keep users entertained. Social networking applications offer direct access to popular sites such as Facebook and Twitter, so users can share their thoughts with the world.

 

One of the most appealing features of the Vivaz Pro is an impressive 5 mega pixel digital camera. This includes autofocus and LED flash in its package of supporting software, allowing quality images to easily be taken no matter what the lighting conditions.
