What is a reality show? Is it something that is happening right now or something that has happened already and being shown to the audience later?

Reality shows is a genre of television programming that focuses on actions and reactions of participants in certain situations that are happening in real. This popularity showed the producers that this was a theme that was well accepted by the audiences and that they could definitely produce shows to get those eyeballs for their channel. Once the potential for Indian reality shows was discovered; different shows with the reality themes were launched. The foremost among the list being the Indian Idol an American reality show adapted for the Indian audiences.
This Indian reality show focused on the singing capabilities of contestants who were selected from lakhs of people who applied and tried their luck of becoming a part of the select few participants.
