With vampire fiction,Vampire Fiction You’ve Never Seen Before – Hilarious & Hard-Hitting! Articles you’re treated to an endless supply of tragic princes, moody forever-teens, and generally melancholy souls wrestling with the moral implications of drinking blood and what to do with their long years.

Some compelling and insightful tales have come out of that – but is that IT?

Where’s the laughter?  Where’s the crazy action?  Where’s the rock ‘n roll?  And where’s the FUN?!

People from Canada to Australia have asked me those very questions for over a decade now, and I’m delighted to say I’ve got a cure for what ails you.

With Unholy War

You’ll be hit in the face with vampire fiction like you’ve never, ever seen – hilarious, hard-hitting, and completely human.

You’re drawn into the exciting, electric wonderland of the Hollywood Vampires by Steele – a cocky, streetwise vampire who sings in an 80’s-style rock ‘n roll band.  Unholy War is his personal chronicle of the cataclysmic clash between the modern vampires of Los Angeles and the wild-eyed cult of old world zealots known as the Crimson Order.

Before we go on, let me ask you something important…

Have you ever felt like the people “in charge” just won’t let you live your life YOUR way?  Have you ever been quietly minding your own business, and then suddenly been told you’re doing it all wrong and need to do it THIS way… even though you weren’t bothering anybody?

That’s what the Crimson Order does.  They’re the people who won’t just let you BE.

Inspired by the musical likes of L.A. Guns, Roxx Gang, and (old) Guns ‘N Roses, Unholy War is a high-energy slice of vampire fiction that gleefully flies the middle finger of defiance in the face of the self-important, spiritually-corrupt authoritarians out to ruin your fun.

Unlike so many other characters found in vampire fiction, Steele and his friends have found the happy medium to their vampirism.  You’re not going to be given chapter after chapter of lamenting over how hard it is to be a vampire – Steele LOVES it.

But of course, that’s not good enough for the Crimson Order.  It’s gotta be done their way… or else.

And you don’t think the vampires of Hollywood are gonna go down without a fight, do you?

With Unholy War, you’ll be strapping in for a rock ‘n roll hellride of friendship, defiance, and courage like nothing else in the world of vampire fiction today.  You’ll…

·         Thrill to brutal, bloody battles with dead-eyed vampire monsters called revenants – who track your emotions like radar.

·         Shiver when werewolves have you surrounded on the bad side of town… and help’s nowhere to be found.

·         Howl with laughter when Stacey – Steele’s wild-hearted best friend – comes to the rescue with his double-barreled shotgun, trademark laugh, and filthy mouth.

Unholy War isn’t yet another re-telling of vampire fiction you’ve already read years ago.  To be honest with you, I can’t do teenage angst or trembling romance like other authors can – I’m much more of a Die Hard and Clerks kinda guy myself.

So instead of the usual, you’re gonna get a high-speed blast of adrenaline-fueled action, outrageous humor, and blood-soaked adventure set to a hard rocking soundtrack!

It’s vampire fiction filled with characters you can laugh with and cheer for, situations that’ll make your heart race with tension and excitement, and ideas you can truly relate to and understand.

In the real world, you’re often stuck in the situation you’re in.  You do the best you can, but that’s usually how it is.  Vampire fiction doesn’t have to be the same way – immortality doesn’t have to be an endless prison sentence of darkness and sadness.

When you’re a vampire, the rules are different.

When somebody tries to hold you down and crush your dreams, you’re not helpless.  You’re strong, you’re fast, you’re clever… you can fight back.  And you can WIN.

You don’t need to worry about getting fired or upsetting the neighbors – when you’re a vampire, the sky’s the limit and adventure is everywhere.  All you need is the courage to raise your fist and never back down.

That’s what Unholy War is about – standing up for yourself and the people you love… and smashing the selfish jerks who get in your way.

Just as Anne Rice gave vampire fiction a much-needed facelift with Interview With The Vampire over 34 years ago, Unholy War gives vampire fiction a fresh new viewpoint, reinventing it for the 21st century.

The old rules mean nothing.  Courage, defiance, and adventure in the name of rock ‘n roll and friendship are the name of the game.
