Vampire fiction is primarily male-dominated.  There’s an endless army of “dreamy” and/or tragic hunks who make the girls – and even guys – swoon and fall in love with them.

Edward.  Bill.  Lestat.  Louis.  Jean-Claude.

Vampire fiction is jam-packed with male leads!  Not to say these aren’t compelling characters – they wouldn’t be so successful if they weren’t!  I’ve always thought Jean-Claude to be a sly and sneaky wise-ass myself,Vampire Fiction With Compelling Lady Vamps Like You’ve Never Seen! Articles and rather enjoy his smirking antics.

But that’s beside the point.  Allow me to ask you…

Have you ever noticed a serious lack of fascinating leading lady vamps in vampire fiction?

Other than Anne Rice’s adventurous Pandora and Nancy Collins’ truly wonderful Sonja Blue, there’s not much in the way of leading ladies in vampire fiction.  You usually see hot-blooded sexual predators or cold-hearted Vampira clones – both of which are usually just there to make trouble and move the plot along.

Don’t get me wrong – these stock characters can be pretty fun.  Who doesn’t like a good villainess?

But seriously – it’s the 21st century.  I think vampire fiction needs to evolve with the times.  Strong female leads are commonplace almost everywhere nowadays, and vampire fiction shouldn’t be any different.  In fact…

Vampire fiction of all places SHOULD have compelling leading ladies!

When you’re a vampire, you’re stronger, smarter, and more powerful than ever before – it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman… the playing field is level.  Lady vampires kick as much ass as guy vampires, and it’s time vampire fiction reflected that!

If you’re hungry for smart, strong, and sexy female vampires who are fully-realized characters and not just plot props, Love, Red Wine, & Magick is exactly what you need!

In Love, Red Wine, & Magick’s two novellas, you’ll meet lady vampires like Brandi – the toughest vampiress you’ll ever meet, who looks over her fellow Sisters of Fury like a she-lion with her cubs.  Brandi’s always up for a good fight and a good time – as long as you’re cool to her best friend Clarisse, you’ll be just fine…

But you’re dead meat if you cross her or hurt somebody she loves.  Just because you’re a vampire doesn’t mean you don’t still have maternal instincts!

Though if it’s one thing Brandi truly hates, it’s racist, sexist jerks.  When she and her fellow biker vamps run into a good ‘ol boy out to kill a mysterious traveling bluesman in “The Ballad Of Thomas Brown,” the steamy summer night gets a dose of all-out mayhem!

It’s not gonna be easy, though – that racist, sexist jerk has a dark secret swirling around in his family’s genetic cesspool.  When it emerges, Brandi’s gonna have a hell of a fight on her hands!

Then you’ll meet half-vampires Donita and Katheryne – longtime lovers and best friends – in “Linda Marie,” a hilarious tale of Lovecraftian horror in the deepest swamps of Louisiana.  The two head out on a quest to help their old friend Jimbeau rescue his beloved Linda Marie from the clutches of a conniving conjurer, and it’s gonna be a climactic clash of cosmic proportions!

Fortunately, not only are Donita and Katheryne immune to the sun’s rays thanks to their quirky half-blood body chemistry, they’re also gifted with truly formidable magickal abilities…

Which they’re gonna need against a legion of zombies, a gigantic abomination made from hundreds of corpses, and extra-dimensional horrors from beyond our realm of reality!

Colorful gypsy loudmouth Donita is quite the contrast to the gentle, soft-spoken witch Katheryne, but the two complement each other beautifully and make a tremendous team – and their arguments are always hilarious.

After getting to know them while plunging through the slimy swamps on their quest to help their friend, you’ll be cheering them during their earth-shattering showdown with an ancient, insidious evil!

Love, Red Wine, & Magick shatters the old concepts about women in vampire fiction, and brings you a completely modern – and empowering – vision of what happens when female vampires step up and take center stage!

It’s vampire fiction unlike anything you’ve ever seen.  Hilarious.  Horrific.  Human.

These aren’t sexy cardboard cut-outs.  These are real women with quirky, genuine personalities.  They love, they live, they laugh – and they don’t back down when the going gets tough.

In Love, Red Wine, & Magick – girls rule.

Follow the link and sink your fangs into the book’s two humorous, hard-hitting, and totally modern tales…
