Vampire fiction is primarily male-dominated. There’s an endless army of “dreamy” and/or tragic hunks who make the girls – and even guys – swoon and fall in love with them.
Edward. Bill. Lestat. Louis. Jean-Claude.
Vampire fiction is jam-packed with male leads! Not to say these aren’t compelling characters – they wouldn’t be so successful if they weren’t! I’ve always thought Jean-Claude to be a sly and sneaky wise-ass myself, and rather enjoy his smirking antics.
