Ab Lounge SportThe Ab Lounge Sport is an abdominal training chair with a jackknife design.  The jackknife allows the user to stretch back in the chair and return to a sitting position in order to work the whole core including the upper abs, lower abs, obliques and the back through a complete range of motion.  The muscles are toned and tightened for a longer period of time when doing a jackknife, therefore delivering superior results versus traditional crunches.  The comfortable chair design allows users of all fitness levels to use the machine.  Additionally, the chair supports the user’s head, neck and back throughout the whole exercise movement.  This support discourages strain on other parts of the body, allowing even those with weak muscles or joints to use the machine.  The Ab Lounge Sport also comes with an instructional workout DVD and a healthy eating guide with recipes and tips for an all around healthier lifestyle.The reviews for the Ab Lounge Sport are mixed.  There were many positive reviews from those who have had great results and were very satisfied with the machine.  There were even a couple of users who were on their second machine after wearing one out and giving one away after achieving a six pack, one user said he would buy it over and over again because he loved it that much.  Many users complemented the level of comfort and the sturdy feel of the machine.  Other reviewers  used the machine not only for toning and strengthening the abs but also as an effective stretching routine.  The design of the Ab Lounge Sport allows for a wide variety of stretches including the back, hips, arms, legs and other areas that can be difficult to reach.  One user cited the stretching as effective in healing long term pain and aching she had experienced in her back and hip.  Perhaps the most entertaining review praised not only the benefits of the machine but said, “it makes a fine patio chair”....when not in use as a means to exercise.There were however several negative reviews.  While many people cited the ease of assembly, more users complained about the time it took to assemble and how complicated assembly was.  Aside from difficulty in assembly the biggest complaint was due to the size of the machine and how much room it takes up.  Several users said simply that the machine did not work to tone their abdomen.  One user said that it seemed to be causing pain in her back that did not exist previously (based on reading a number of reviews I do have to wonder if this could be due to improper form or use).  Most of the negative reviews stated that they could not feel any burn and did not get any results.  As previously stated the results were mixed, those who gave positive reviews of this ab machine loved it, while those who gave negative reviews hated it.  There was very little in between.The Breakdown
