What is the author's favorite George St. Pierre Rushfit Workout?

Luckily with all these new home workout programs,My Favorite Workout in George St. Pierre’s RushFit Articles we aren’t forced to choose.

P90X, TapOut, George St. Pierre’s RushFitare all multifaceted which is a fancy way of saying they take multiple approaches to kicking your butt. Luckily with the rise to prominence of P90X we had good stewards in charge of product development. The folks at BeachBody took extra care in the research and development process when putting together P90X and gave you more rather than less. First there was the necessity of creating a workout system that brought you serious results in all the major muscle groups.  The results demand a wide-ranging approach that is thorough in forcing your body to move in a variety of ways.  So not unlike the 90 day guarantee that is so popular with people, the more is better approach of P90X has also been widely emulated in programs like George St. Pierre’s RushFit. For the general paying public, you see this is a great thing and basically is the minimum price to get into the game.

George St. Pierre’s RushFit didn’t do anything novel in this area. Although the workout system is more high intensity cardio than P90X, it still carries with it multiple workouts on multiple dvds.  The idea is always that variety is good. First variety keeps things interesting. If we do the same thing multiple times a week, we are likely to get bored.  Second, muscle confusion effectively drives all workout programs that operate under a calendar approach. To get the best outcomes in the shortest amount of time, you need to keep your body off balance and uncomfortable constantly.

With George St. Pierre’s RushFit you get 7 workouts on 6 dvds which are rotated smartly through the 8 week layout of the program. Besides a workout guide, nutrition guide and workout plan tailored to your fitness level, you get workouts tailored to the abdominal core, flexibility, explosive strength and overall body conditioning. My favorite personally is the workout called “Fight Conditioning Workout”. The emphasis is on bringing the fight and ring experience of Mixed Martial Arts to the user. I am a big proponent of any workout that emphasizes realism of the sports experience because it allows a person to lose themselves in becoming part of a different world that I admire. When you can work out in a “non-workout” manner, you can get the full body workout of the program without being bored.
